Sarah Gretter in a recent graduate from the Educational Psychology & Educational Technology program at Michigan State University. Her work focuses on training teachers to help students understand the impact of technology in our daily lives. She works at the intersection of how humans communicate with each other (media literacy) and how machines transmit information to us (computational thinking) to create awareness about how the Internet affects our knowledge about the world that surrounds us. She joined the Michigan State University Hub for Innovations in Learning and Technology in July, where she will contribute to developing new ways of approaching education in the Information Age.
Sarah Gretter est une recente diplômée du programme en Psychology & Technologie de l’Éducation à Michigan State University. Son travail se centre sur la formation aux enseignants pour aider les élèves à comprendre l’impact de la technologie dans la vie de tous les jours. Son travail est à la croisée de comment les personnes communiquent entre eux (littératie médiatique) et de comment les machines nous transmettent des informations (pensée computationelle) afin de prendre conscience de l’effet d’Internet sur nos connaissances du monde qui nous entoure.
